At the Royal Opera House all day yesterday atttending the Culture Change Conference organised jointly by Julie's Bicycle and the Royal Opera House. The theme of the conference was Sustainability in the Arts. Not just in the Green sense of environmental sustainability, but also about sustaining a career in the arts. I was there with photographic artist Fiona Bennett with whom I've collaborated on the work "Land of The Lambs". A very interesting day meeting other artists as well as the inspirational talk by designer Wayne Hemingway and the breakout session about funding - particularly crowd funding by someone from Crowdfunder.co.uk. Now back to the serious stuff of writing and playing before today disappears and it's time for this evening's Compass Moon rehearsal.
