Talk Of The Town
This is the soundscape For Talk Of The Town by Times Echoed - comprising myself and Fiona Bennett www.timesechoed.com for Out On Tour at The Gibberd Gallery in Harlow. The commissioned work consists of an installation including sound and featuring submissions by the local community. Currently on display. It is meant to be viewed on sight but we hope to be able to post a video of the installation with sound projected via the glass windows with the use of surface transducers. We were greatly helped in the research for this method of sound projection by Tim Porter of Porter and Davies, and electronics expert Mark Farnworth.. Their contribution is gratefully and greatly appreciated.
